After an awesome season at the Abrolhos Islands, Bluewater has now arrived at the Montebello’s and we are ready to take you some the best bluewater fishing grounds in the world.

Red Emperor, Spanish Mackeral, Giant Trevalley, Tuna, Barracuda, Crimson Sea Perch, Spangled Emperor, Rankin Cods, Golden Snapper and more... The fish on offer are truly amazing.

Once you step on our boat “Bluewater” you can forget about the hassles of life for a few days. Unlike other charters where your expected to pitch in, with Blue Juice Charters Everything is taken care of for you. All meals are provided and all your fish is cleaned, filleted, packed and frozen ready for you to take home.

Accommodation is below the deck in bunk style air-conditioned comfort, or ask one of our friendly staff to set up a camp bed on the deck so you can sleep under the stars.

The Montebello Islands are located in the Pilbara approximately 70 kilometres West of Dampier and 100 kilometres North West of Exmouth.

The Montebello Islands feature beautiful beaches, bays and lagoons fringed by mangroves in places, and surrounded by luxuriant gardens of corals and colourful tropical fish. There are 265 islands and islets in the Montebello complex with a habitat diversity perfect for those who join us for our weekly Deep sea fishing adventures.

the final Places are filling for the 2010 season‚ these won't last long so reserve you preferred dates as soon as possible. All charters are fully catered; your only requirement is to bring sleeping bag‚ pillows‚ toiletries and alcohol.

The Montebello Islands are home to an outstanding range of fish including GT’s, Coral & Coronation Trout, Red Emperor, Spangled Emperor, Blue Bone, Baldachin Groper, Rankin Cod, Various other Northern Cods including the coral cod, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Sail Fish and Marlin. The surrounding reef systems are also host to the painted cray's while sensational mud crabs lurk amongst the mangroves.

All our Montebello island fishing charters are fully catered; you need only bring a sleeping bag, pillows, toiletries and alcoholic drinks, if required.

Montebello Island History

The shipwreck, the Tryal, lies North-West of the Montebello Islands, known to be one of the earliest European shipwrecks in Australia. Whaling, pearling and turtle hunting where included in the early maritime industries in the region, during the 1950’s, the British undertook atomic weapons testing on the Islands, leaving a considerable amount of rubbish and structures.

The area is now known for its commercial significance because the nearby Barrow Islands is one of the State’s most productive petroleum areas, producing 34 per cent of the State’s oil, and some the highest quality of pearls in the world are produced within the area.
